Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking a Machine/Production Operative for a full-time position in Yate, United Kingdom. The role involves packing, palletising, and operating pallet trucks and scanners to ensure product integrity. A strong focus on safety and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

Experience in a warehouse or packing environment.
Ability to operate pallet trucks and scanners safely.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good communication and teamwork.
Willingness to follow safety procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

Stack pallets with boxes from the packing belt, ensuring product consistency and safe stacking.
Check the quality of boxes on full pallets and apply correct wrapping to secure products for safe transportation.
Verify and attach accurate pallet labels, double-checking accuracy with colleagues.
Operate Powered Pallet Truck (PPT), hand pallet truck, hand scanners, and other equipment safely.
Monitor metal detection systems for malfunctions and report near-misses.
Supply the Packing Desk area with new pallets to ensure smooth operations.
Follow company policies to support the packing desk running.
Maintain a clean Packing Desk area for a safe working environment.
Perform additional duties as required to meet business needs.
