Job summary

HR GO Group in Chesterfield is recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing and print production team. The role is hands-on, with a focus on keeping production running smoothly and meeting quality standards.

You will operate and assist with machinery, feed materials, perform basic setup, check finished products, and help prepare goods for dispatch. Temporary, with an immediate start and typical £14.32 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous production, manufacturing, printing or machine operating experience would be beneficial, although training can be provided.
• Reliable commute in Chesterfield with good attendance and timekeeping.
• Ability to follow instructions and work to production targets.

Responsibilities

• Operating and assisting with production and printing machinery.
• Feeding materials into machines and monitoring the production process.
• Carrying out basic machine setup and adjustments where required.
• Checking finished products for quality and identifying any defects.
• Packing, labeling, assembling and preparing finished products for dispatch.
• Moving materials and finished goods around the production area.
• Completing basic production paperwork and recording quantities.
• Keeping your workstation clean, organised and safe.
• Following all health & safety and company procedures.
• Working closely with other members of the production team to achieve daily targets.
• Reporting any machine faults, quality issues or production problems to the supervisor.

Production Operative - IMMEDIATE START - Chesterfield S43 3LS

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Production Operatives for S43 3LS Chesterfield to join a busy manufacturing and print production industry.

You will be working as part of the production team in a manufacturing environment, helping to ensure products are produced, finished and prepared to the required quality standards while keeping production running efficiently.
