Job summary

Craemer UK Ltd in Telford is seeking an organised machine operator to run an injection moulding line to the production schedule. You will visually inspect the machine, perform daily maintenance, manage colour/foil/stamp changes and input data into the Hydra system while following health and safety rules.

The shift pattern is Continental with 12-hour days and nights, including weekends and bank holidays. Benefits include 24 days holiday, discretionary bonus, cycle-to-work, free parking and weekly

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect the machine and ensure production matches the First Off sample.
• Carry out daily preventative maintenance, cleaning and inspection of the tool and the machine.
• Start and stop the machine if quality issues affect production.
• Fully support colour, foil, stamp and material changes and quality testing.
• Provide correct data input in the Hydra production system and in any manual records.

Craemer UK is a progressive and rapidly expanding organisation based in Telford, Shropshire with state-of-the-art machinery including the largest injection moulding machine in the UK along with Kuka six axis robots. We are a traditional family run business with sites across Europe, manufacturing the highest quality injection moulded goods to our extensive customer base.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Ensuring the designated machine is operated and run in accordance with the required production schedule.

Maintaining and striving to improve the company’s current health, safety and environmental procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

• Visually inspect the machine running and ensure that production is in accordance with the “First Off” sample provided beside the machine and as signed off by the Shift Leader.
• Carry out the daily preventative maintenance, cleaning and inspection routine of the tool and the machine.
• Start and stop the machine if there are any quality issues affecting production.
• Fully support all activities associated with the machine, such as colour, foil, stamp and material changes and quality testing.
• Provide the correct data input in the Hydra production system and in any manual recordings/documentation.
• A dhere to all Health & Safety rules and guidelines as notified.

Working Pattern:

You will be working on the Panama Continental Shift pattern, which consists of 12-hour shifts alternating between days and nights, including weekends and bank holidays.
