Job summary

Talent Finder is recruiting Production Operatives for a Preston manufacturing site to produce high-quality moulded plastic products while upholding strict quality, productivity and safety standards. You will trim and finish parts and support housekeeping and quality controls.

Available on rotating shifts (XTB, HG, TBM and Roto Moulding) with Week 1 and Week 2 patterns; site employs about 155 people on a 4-acre production site in Preston, Lancashire. Training and safety culture are emphasised.

Qualifications

Job description

Our client is a leading manufacturer of moulded plastic products, operating in vehicle, fire, and environmental safety markets. They are a market leader in several European countries and ship to over 60 countries worldwide.

Operating from a 4-acre manufacturing site in Preston, Lancashire, and a 3.7-acre distribution site nearby, the group employs around 155 people. They also have a subsidiary in Seclin, France, employing 17 staff. Group turnover is approximately £22m.

The Role

We are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join their manufacturing team in Preston. Opportunities are available across rotating shifts. You will be responsible for producing high-quality moulded plastic products while maintaining strong standards of quality, productivity, and safety.

Available Shifts

XTB Rotating Shift

• Week 1: Monday to Friday, 05:45-14:15


• Week 2: Monday to Thursday, 13:45-22:15, Friday finish at 21:15

HG 1 Rotating Shift

• Same rotating shift pattern as above

TBM Rotating Shift

• Same rotating shift pattern as above

Roto Moulding Rotating Shift

• Same rotating shift pattern as above
