We are currently looking for a reliable and practical Production Operative to join our team in Stradbroke, Mid Suffolk.
The position is working Monday - Friday, 2pm - 10pm, however, the successful candidate will first be required to complete two weeks of training on the 6am–2pm shift.
You will be working on a small bag production line, handling bags weighing approximately 2.5kg, which are wrapped into packs of four. The role involves regularly lifting and handling packs weighing around 10kg at a time.

Setting up and maintaining production equipment
Operating machinery on a small bag production line
Carrying out basic preventative maintenance
Looking after changeover parts and spares
Recording downtime and repairs alongside the maintenance team
Using basic hand tools
Keeping your area running safely and efficiently
Working independently and taking ownership of your area
Risk assessing tasks as required
Regularly lifting and handling packs weighing approximately 10kg
We’re looking for someone who is:
Experienced in machine operation or a production environment
Practical and confident with basic fault finding
Comfortable using hand tools
Reliable, hardworking and safety conscious
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Task-focused, with good attention to detail
Positive and willing to get stuck in
Comfortable working in a busy production environment
Physically capable of regularly lifting approximately 10kg
We’re looking for someone who is:

£13.19 per hour to start
Opportunity to earn up to £14.58 per hour once fully trained and with the relevant FLT qualification
40 hours per week
Monday–Friday
2pm–10pm
Two weeks' initial training on 6am–2pm
Weekend overtime available
Overtime is paid at double time after completion of weekly contractual hours
