Kingdom People is recruiting a meticulous Production Operative for a market-leading precision engineering team based in Portsmouth. This is a full-time, ongoing agency contract with stable day shifts and an early finish on Fridays.

The role involves detagging, inspections, part counts, drying operations, and 100% quality checks on small components, in a modern high-tech facility. The company values accuracy and teamwork in a clean, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out the detagging of precision-engineered components to set quality standards.
• Performing part counts and final inspections before booking orders to processing sections.
• Managing drying operations following established setting sheets and procedures.
• Conducting thorough 100% inspections on finished piece parts to ensure exact specifications.
• Assisting with broader shop-floor support, including material replenishment, swarf disposal, and maintaining strict Foreign Object Debris (FOD) standards.

Hours: Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:30 | Friday 08:00 - 15:30 (Early Finish)
