Job summary

JDR Recruitment is seeking Production Operators to join its Swansea-area manufacturing network in Coedely / Llantrisant. The role involves working on fast-paced production and bottling lines, operating and monitoring machinery, feeding materials, packing and performing basic quality checks.

Flexibility across shift patterns (6:00am-2:00pm and 2:00pm-10:00pm, with possible night shifts) and a strong work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in production, manufacturing or FMCG advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor fast-paced production and bottling lines.
• Pack, label and prepare finished products.
• Carry out basic quality checks and check for defects.
• Complete production paperwork and keep area clean and safe.
• Work with shift supervisors to meet daily production targets.

Production Operators

Location: Coedely / Llantrisant

Shift Pattern will alternate between 6:00am - 2:00pm and 2:00pm - 10:00pm. Night shifts may also be available.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a modern, fast-paced production environment, working as part of a team involved in the manufacturing, bottling and packing of a range of consumer products.

We are looking for reliable, hardworking and flexible individuals who are comfortable working within a busy production environment and, importantly, are able to work across a variety of shifts so flexibility is essential.

The Role

As a Production Operator, your duties may include:

• Working on fast-paced production and bottling lines
• Operating and monitoring production machinery
• Feeding products and packaging materials onto production lines
• Packing, labelling and preparing finished products
• Carrying out basic quality checks throughout the production process
• Checking products for defects and ensuring they meet required standards
• Completing production paperwork where required
• Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe
• Following all site Health & Safety, hygiene and quality procedures
• Working closely with other Production Operators and Shift Supervisors to achieve daily production targets
• Supporting across different areas of production when required

What We're Looking For

Previous experience within production, manufacturing, FMCG, food & drink, bottling, packing or a similar environment would be advantageous, although we are also interested in reliable candidates who are keen to learn.

• Have a good attitude towards attendance and timekeeping
• Be able to follow instructions and site procedures
• Work well as part of a team
• Have good attention to detail
