Job summary

JDR Recruitment Swansea is seeking Production Operators for a permanent night shift at the Coedely/Llantrisant site. You will work on busy bottling and packing lines, operate and monitor machinery, feed materials, pack finished products and carry out basic quality checks.

Ideal candidates will have a reliable attitude, good attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Sunday to Thursday 10pm–6am, with induction and registration on offer.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced production/manufacturing environments is desirable.
• Ability to operate and monitor production lines and packaging equipment.
• Ability to perform basic quality checks and follow procedures.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to health and safety standards.
• Capable of working as part of a small team on night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor bottling/packing lines.
• Feed products and materials onto production lines.
• Pack, label and prepare finished products for dispatch.
• Carry out basic quality checks and inspect for defects.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow site procedures.
• Work with Shift Supervisors to hit daily production targets.

Production Operators - Night Shift

Location: Coedely / Llantrisant
Shift: Sunday Night - Thursday Night 10pm until 0600am.

JDR Recruitment Swansea are currently recruiting for a number of Production Operators to join a busy, fast-paced manufacturing environment in the Coedely / Llantrisant area.

We are looking for reliable and hardworking candidates who are available to work permanent night shifts, Sunday night through to Thursday night.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a modern production environment, working as part of a team involved in the manufacturing, bottling and packing of a range of consumer products.

The Role

As a Production Operator, your duties may include:

• Working on fast-paced production and bottling lines
• Operating and monitoring production machinery
• Feeding products and packaging materials onto production lines
• Packing, labelling and preparing finished products
• Carrying out basic quality checks throughout the production process
• Checking products for defects and ensuring they meet required standards
• Completing production paperwork where required
• Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe
• Following all site Health & Safety, hygiene and quality procedures
• Working closely with other Production Operators and Shift Supervisors to achieve daily production targets
• Supporting across different areas of production when required

What We're Looking For

Previous experience within production, manufacturing, FMCG, bottling, packing or a similar fast-paced environment would be advantageous, although we are also interested in reliable candidates who are keen to learn.

Successful candidates will need to:

• Be fully available to work night shifts Sunday through to Thursday
• Be comfortable working within a fast-paced production environment
• Have an excellent attitude towards attendance and timekeeping
• Be able to follow instructions and site procedures
• Work well as part of a team
• Have good attention to detail
• Be comfortable with repetitive and physical duties
• Be committed to maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene and Health & Safety

Registration & Induction

All successful candidates will be required to complete a full registration and face-to-face induction with JDR Recruitment prior to starting.
