Job summary

Thorn Baker Industrial is recruiting Production Operatives for a busy print company in Old Dalby, Leicestershire. These temporary positions offer exposure to three different areas of the production process and the potential to move across departments.

You will label and tag products, remove printed transfers, pack finished items, move pallets weighing 15–18kg and receive training on the company’s print machinery. Transport is essential to access the site.

We are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join a busy print company based in Old Dalby, Leicestershire. These are temporary positions initially, with opportunities to work across different areas of the production process.

The Role

Work across three departments: Dryer, Transfer and Fulfilment, depending on business requirements.

Apply labels and tags to a variety of products.

Remove printed transfers from products.

Work at the end of production dryers, checking and packing products into boxes and cages.

Move pallets and handle boxes weighing approximately 15–18kg.

Receive training on the company's print machinery.

Maintain good attention to detail and ensure products are handled accurately.

You must be flexible and willing to work across all three departments, as you will not be based in just one area.

Shift Patterns

Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm
Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm – 10:00pm

About You
