Job summary

Employee Finder Ltd is seeking a Production Assembler in Fareham for a permanent role within an aerospace manufacturer. You will build and test components and assemblies to drawings and aerospace standards, using basic SAP, reading drawings and work instructions, and ensuring quality and accuracy.

Experience in at least two of: mechanical assembly, laser or dot peen marking, grit blasting, soldering to J-STD-001, encapsulation or potting, induction brazing or electrical testing.

Qualifications

• Experience in at least two of the listed areas (mechanical assembly, marking, soldering, encapsulation/potting, brazing, or electrical testing).
• Ability to read drawings and work instructions; basic SAP usage.
• Good manual dexterity, eyesight and colour vision; willingness to participate in 5S and kaizen activities.

Responsibilities

Job description

Production Assembler | £25,989 to £32,645 depending on experience | Permanent | Fareham

Our client is an aerospace manufacturer in Fareham. You will build and test components and assemblies to drawings and aerospace standards.

You need experience in at least two of these: mechanical assembly, laser or dot peen marking, grit blasting, soldering to J-STD-001, encapsulation or potting, induction brazing, electrical testing. You must read drawings and work instructions, use SAP at a basic level and have good manual dexterity, good eyesight and normal colour vision. You will join in 5S and kaizen activity. Manual turning, coil winding or electron beam welding is a bonus.
