Job summary

Kingdom Services Group in Fareham is seeking an experienced Assembler to join the Test Department on a permanent day shift. The role focuses on assembling components and products, ensuring quality standards are met and that items are ready for testing.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on assembly experience and a good eye for detail, following engineering instructions and documented processes to maintain high quality in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and products in accordance with engineering and manufacturing instructions
• Prepare products and assemblies for testing
• Carry out mechanical assembly using a variety of hand tools and equipment
• Read and follow engineering drawings, work instructions and manufacturing documentation
• Ensure components are assembled correctly and to the required specification
• Carry out basic visual and dimensional checks
• Identify and report defects or issues during the assembly process
• Complete relevant production and quality documentation accurately
• Work closely with Test, Production and Quality teams
• Maintain excellent standards of quality and workmanship
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment

What's the role all about?

As an Assembler within the Test Department, you'll be responsible for assembling components and products ready for testing, ensuring everything is completed accurately and to the required quality standards.

You'll work closely with colleagues across Test, Production and Quality, following engineering instructions and established processes to ensure products are assembled correctly and ready for the next stage of manufacture.

This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, quality and following processes accurately are essential.
