• Experienced with manual handling, ideally gained in a manufacturing role.
• Knowledgeable in Health and Safety.

• Carrying out a variety of manual handling tasks, cheese cutting, yield understanding.
• Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures and Safe Systems of Work.

Do you want to work Monday to Friday 2pm to 10pm?

Join us at our centre of excellence for cheese cutting and packing of the nations favourite cheeses - Cathedral City, Davidstow and Wensleydale.

Salary:

• Level 1 £13.60 per hour or £26,524.32 per year + site bonus scheme up to £800 per annum
• Level 2 £14.31 per hour or £27,920.28 per year + site bonus scheme up to £800 per annum

Holiday: 25 Days per year + Bank Holidays

You will make contributions that matter by...

• Working as part of the Operations team in an air temperature of 12oC
• Carrying out a variety of manual handling tasks, cheese cutting, yield understanding & control, line set up, operation of wrapping machines, using machinery and materials handling equipment
• Adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures, Site Policies and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW)

You are best suited for the role if you are…

• Familiar working in a food production environment
• Experienced with manual handling, ideally gained in a manufacturing role
• Knowledgeable in Health and Safety
• Able to adapt to an ever-changing production environment
• Experienced working with different types of machinery
