My client based in Colwick NG4 is currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis, with guaranteed work and the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.

Role Purpose

As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the production of high-quality gas cylinders while adhering to health, safety, and quality standards. The role involves working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment to meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and equipment as required.
• Perform manual handling tasks, such as lifting, positioning, and assembling materials or components.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to complete production tasks efficiently.
• Conduct visual inspections to ensure products meet quality standards and report defects immediately.
• Complete quality checks and maintain accurate records as required.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent hazards.
• Identify and report potential safety risks or hazards.
• Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to achieve production targets.
• Provide feedback to improve processes and workflows.
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work areas.
• Support other departments as required and participate in training sessions and team meetings.
