Job summary

Bamford Contract Services Ltd in Littleborough is seeking a Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. The role involves monitoring machinery, checking quality, packing finished products and following health & safety procedures.

Hours are Monday to Thursday, 7am–7pm, fixed days, with a 48-hour week and immediate starts available. Prior production/manufacturing experience is essential and lifting 7–20 kg per pack is required.

Our manufacturing client based in Littleborough is looking for an experienced Production Operative to join their busy team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

Production or manufacturing experience is essential for this role.

The Role

As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for:

• Monitoring and operating machinery.
• Checking products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Packing finished products.
• Following production and health & safety procedures.
• Working as part of a busy manufacturing team.
• Regular manual handling and lifting of products weighing approximately 7-20kg per pack.
