Job Opportunity: Production Operative

Logistics People are seeking Production Operatives/Factory Operatives/Factory Workers/Line Operatives/Production Team Members to join our team.

Location: Dudley, Integrated Packing Services (IPS)

Working Hours:

• 5 out of 7 days, with AM and PM shifts available

Position: Production Operative

Role and Responsibilities:

• Packing orders in preparation for shipping
• Working as part of a team on a production line
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping and debris disposal
• Handling stock with care, paying close attention to detail
• Handling mostly lightweight products
• Assisting with additional duties as assigned by Line Leaders
• Participating in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge
• Following all safety procedures and systems of work
• Reporting hazards, near misses, defective equipment, and accidents
• Adhering to quality procedures
• Reporting product faults, such as poor seals, difficult-to-read coding, or missing labels
• Checking product quality and ensuring correct packing
• Verifying dates on incoming products for Line Leaders
• Ensuring correct pallet layout
• Keeping the line tidy to ensure safety and product integrity
• Following personal hygiene rules, including hand washing and restricting loose items in the factory
• Working efficiently to meet line targets
• Adhering to shift start and break times
• Maintaining focus on your designated line area
