Gap Personnel is helping a confectionery manufacturing site in Crediton recruit a Production Operative. The role operates Monday to Friday in central Crediton, with a pay rate of £12.81 per hour.

You will join a team that produces and distributes confectionery products across the UK, handling all aspects from manufacturing to packaging and documentation. Ideal candidates will work well in a team or alone, communicate clearly, and stay reliable to meet production deadlines.

• Following verbal and written instructions.

• Ensuring all items are correctly labelled and packed.
• Reporting any damaged / defective products.
• Working to production deadlines.
• Operating equipment/machinery.
• Ensure machinery is cleaned to a high standard.

We are now recruiting for a Production Operative to join a fantastic manufacturing company based in central Crediton. You will join a team that specialise in confectionary products and distribute throughout the UK.

Working within their production department, you will be joining a department which is key in the supply chain of their produce ready for dispatch. The role does demand accuracy, accountability and reliability with a key eye for attention.

The role of a Production Operative is varied with duties including:

• Manufacturing confectionery products using traditional methods
• Following verbal and written instructions
• Completing documents for each batch of product moved through the area
• Manual Handling for lifting bags or buckets of raw materials weighing up to 25kg
• Ensuring all items are correctly labelled and packed
• Reporting any damaged / defective products
• Working to production deadlines
• Operating equipment/machinery
• Ensure machinery is cleaned to a high standard

Production Operative Requirements:
