Job summary

Select Appointments are recruiting a Production Operative for a busy chocolate production team in Norwich. The role runs Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, with an hourly pay of £12.71 and an ongoing temporary contract that could lead to permanent work for the right candidate.

You will work on the production line, wrapping and packing chocolate products, while maintaining hygiene standards and assisting with stock checks.

Responsibilities

• Working on a production line, including standing at a conveyor belt for extended periods
• Placing chocolate blocks onto the production line ready for wrapping
• Wrapping chocolate products to company standards
• Packing wrapped chocolate products into boxes, typically weighing 300–400g
• Keeping your workstation clean, tidy and organised
• Following all food hygiene, health and safety procedures
• Reporting any production or quality issues to your supervisor
• Supporting with stock rotation and inventory checks when required

The Role

As a Production Operative, you will play an important part in the production and packing of products. Your duties will include:
