Job summary

Westray Recruitment Group is seeking a Production Operative for its established manufacturing operation in Cramlington. You will join a hands-on team producing, assembling and packaging mechanical and electrical goods.

Role involves assembling electrical goods, hand assembly with tools, hand soldering, testing, and operating machinery on a production line to meet daily targets in a safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

• Assembling electrical goods and components in line with required procedures
• Carrying out hand assembly using handheld tools
• Performing hand soldering of through-hole components in accordance with the bill of materials
• Testing finished products
• Operating machinery, including metal press equipment where required
• Working closely with colleagues on production lines to achieve daily targets
• Carrying out quality checks on completed goods
• Completing relevant production and work documentation
• Following all health and safety procedures and guidelines
• Maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail
• Supporting colleagues and contributing positively to the production team
• Following company values, procedures and standards at all times

• Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00am – 4:30pm / Friday 08:00am – 1:30pm

The Role
