Job summary

Impact Recruitment are currently recruiting a Production Operative for a Corby-based injection moulding manufacturer. You will monitor injection moulding machines, remove finished products and perform basic quality checks to ensure smooth production.

The role is temp-to-perm with 12-hour shifts (6am-6pm / 6am-6pm variant). Salary from £13-£14 per hour, with days paid when permanent and benefits outlined by the client.

Are you a Production Operative with manufacturing experience looking for a new opportunity with a choice of day shifts? Have you previously worked in a factory environment and are comfortable monitoring machinery, handling finished products and carrying out quality checks? We have three different 12-hour shift patterns available, including weekday and weekend options.

Impact Recruitment are currently working with a well-established injection moulding manufacturer based in Corby. They are looking for Production Operatives to join their production team on a temp-to-perm basis, working within the moulding department. The role involves minding injection moulding machines, removing finished products, carrying out basic quality checks and ensuring production runs smoothly.

Location: Corby

Shift options: 6am to 6pm

Monday - Thursday: £13.00 per hour

Tuesday - Friday: £13.00 per hour

Friday - Monday: £14.00 per hour

Contract: Temp to Perm

Duties:

• Monitor and mind injection moulding machines throughout production.
• Remove finished products from machines and prepare them for packing.
• Carry out basic visual quality checks to ensure products meet the required standards.
• Monitor machine performance and report any faults or production issues.
• Ensure machines are running efficiently and safely.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised working area.
• Follow production procedures and health and safety requirements.

The ideal candidate must:

• Have previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Be comfortable monitoring machinery and carrying out repetitive production tasks.
• Have good attention to detail and an awareness of quality standards.
• Be reliable and committed to working their chosen shift pattern.
• Be physically fit and comfortable standing for extended periods and carrying out manual handling tasks.
• Be able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Desirable:

• Previous injection moulding experience.
• Experience working as a Machine Minder, Machine Operator or Production Operative.
• Experience carrying out visual quality checks and packing finished products.
