Job summary

Keystone Lintels is seeking a production operator to join our busy manufacturing site in Cookstown, Northern Ireland. You will work as part of a hands-on team, manufacturing lintels, performing quality checks and preparing materials for production.

We value a strong work ethic, attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Training will be provided, with opportunities for professional development and a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

  • 2 months experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Strong verbal communication, numeracy and interpersonal skills.
  • Punctual, reliable and dependable; flexible for peak periods.
  • Willingness to learn new processes.
  • Good timekeeping and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Work safely and efficiently as part of the production team.
  • Operate production equipment and machinery following training and procedures.
  • Prepare materials and components for the manufacturing process.
  • Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet standards.
  • Follow production specifications, processes and work instructions.
  • Keep work area clean, tidy and safe.
  • Work towards daily production targets while maintaining quality.
  • Report quality, equipment or production issues to your supervisor.
  • Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.

About the Role

You'll play a key role in our manufacturing operation, helping us produce high-quality lintels that are supplied to customers across the construction industry.

Working as part of a hands‑on production team, you'll be involved in the day‑to‑day manufacture, quality checking, handling and preparation of our products. This is a practical role suited to someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in doing a job well and is looking to develop their skills within a busy manufacturing environment.

What you’ll be doing
  • Working safely and efficiently as part of the production team.
  • Operating production equipment and machinery following training and company procedures.
  • Preparing materials and components for the manufacturing process.
  • Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet our required standards.
  • Following production specifications, processes and work instructions.
  • Keeping your work area clean, tidy and safe
  • Working towards daily production targets while maintaining quality.
  • Reporting any quality, equipment or production issues to your supervisor.
  • Supporting your colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment.
What you’ll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, construction or a similar production environment would be an advantage but isn't essential as training will be provided.

  • Punctual, reliable and dependable, with a flexible approach to working additional hours when required during peak business periods.
