Job summary

Gill Cooke Personnel Ltd T/A The Recruitment Group is recruiting Production Operatives for a growing global manufacturing company. Qualifications

• Hands-on, practical approach and good mechanical aptitude.
• Experience using hand tools or power tools is advantageous.
• Qualification in Engineering, Mechanics, Carpentry or related discipline beneficial but not essential.
• Manufacturing or workshop experience desirable but not essential.
• Strong teamwork and ability to work independently.
• Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the assembly and finishing of moulded components to high quality standards.
• Preparing mouldings in line with production schedules.
• Supporting the preparation and bonding of products.
• Carrying out cutting, grinding, and finishing processes.
• Producing sub-assemblies as required.

Working as part of the production team, you will be involved in the assembly, preparation, finishing, and inspection of high-quality products.

The ideal applicant will have:

• Manufacturing, assembly, production, engineering, or workshop experience is desirable but not essential.
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a good work ethic.
