Job summary

DFS Furniture PLC in the UK is seeking a Production Operative for the Kitting team at Lincoln House Woodmill. You will accurately pick and prepare timber, CNC-machined components, fixings and other materials, creating complete kits for production and delivering them to the right area on time.

In a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will maintain stock levels, work safely, and collaborate with colleagues to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Requires excellent attention to detail and numeracy skills.
• Experience in warehouse, stores or manufacturing is helpful but not essential.

About the role:

As a Production Operative in our Kitting team at our Lincoln House Woodmill, you'll be a key part of the manufacturing process, ensuring our production teams have everything they need to build the quality sofa frames that form the foundation of every DFS sofa.

You'll accurately pick and prepare timber, CNC-machined components, fixings and other materials, creating complete kits that are delivered to the right production area at the right time. By keeping materials organised and readily available, you'll help production run efficiently, minimise delays and maintain the high standards of quality we're known for.

Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you'll collaborate closely with colleagues across the Woodmill, maintain accurate stock levels, and ensure your work area remains safe, clean and organised. With a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach, you'll play an important role in helping us create furniture that our customers will enjoy for years to come.

Morning Shift Monday to Thursday : 6:00 am – 1:50 pm ,Friday : 6:00 am – 2:05 pm
