Job summary

DFS is seeking a Production Operative for our Lincoln House site in Somercotes on a permanent basis. You will learn the factory processes and materials used to manufacture our furniture. The role features a 4-day afternoon shift with three days off each week, plus a two-week July shutdown and a Christmas week off.

We do not work bank holidays, giving you extra time to relax and spend with loved ones. DFS offers a competitive salary of £25,866 per annum plus a benefits package, with opportunities

What you'll be doing:

Initially, your responsibilities will include ensuring that materials and products are available throughout the factory, which will involve significant manual lifting and require stamina. As you become proficient in your role and gain a deeper understanding of the products, you can choose to develop specialised skills such as upholstery or sewing, providing you with excellent opportunities for growth and increased earnings.

No prior experience is necessary—only a desire to succeed and a willingness to learn.
