Job summary

Recycleye in the United Kingdom is seeking a hands-on ML/CV engineer to build features for waste sorting products deployed on real lines. You will work across model architectures, calibration, and end-to-end performance in production.

You’ll collaborate with data and plant monitoring teams, deploy on NVIDIA Jetson devices, and spend time on site at demo centres and customer sites. The role requires 3–5 years of Python production experience and strong software engineering fundamentals.

Qualifications

• Hands-on computer vision experience in ML, physics, maths, engineering or CS.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features across waste sorting and plant monitoring products.
• Evaluate and deploy model architectures, adapting ideas from ML papers to use cases.
• Implement novel object tracking algorithms and camera calibration.
• Improve DeepStream pipelines for efficiency on production systems.
• Support deployed systems and spend time on site with the waste sorted.
