Job summary

Recycleye is hiring an ML/CV engineer to push production-ready computer vision features for waste sorting and plant monitoring. You’ll work on evaluating new model architectures, adapting ideas from ML papers, and implementing object tracking and camera calibration on NVIDIA Jetson devices with DeepStream pipelines.

You’ll collaborate with data teams, support deployed systems on site, and help shape our engineering practices through code reviews and testing.

Qualifications

• Hands-on computer vision experience with ML, physics, maths, or computer science.
• Around 3–5 years’ experience writing production-quality Python code.
• Track record shipping ML into production in a commercial setting, ideally CV on edge devices.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals: tested code, version control, code review.
• Clear communication and collaborative approach; comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features across waste sorting and plant monitoring products.
• Evaluate new model architectures and adapt ideas from ML papers to use cases.
• Implement object tracking, camera calibration, and efficient DeepStream pipelines.
• Work with data teams to train models and support deployed systems on site.
• Shape the way we work, participate in code reviews, testing, and planning.
