Job summary

Platform Recruitment is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer specializing in computer vision for our Oxford-based team. You will work on production-grade CV models, from research to deployment, collaborating with engineers, data scientists, and domain experts.

The role focuses on designing, training and deploying CV models, evaluating performance, and influencing technical decisions across projects. Strong Python and ML framework experience are essential, with a track record in production

Qualifications

• Degree from a leading Russell Group university in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of commercial experience in ML/AI/Computer Vision engineering.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar ML frameworks.
• Experience developing computer vision models using object detection, image classification, segmentation, or tracking.
• Experience with real-world datasets and deploying models into production environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, and deploy computer vision models across the full ML lifecycle and build production-ready systems.
