Kinetic plc is recruiting for a Production Manufacturing Operative in St Helens. Join a growing manufacturing business that produces bespoke equipment for telecoms networks. You will work in a fast-paced, supportive environment manufacturing cabinets and components to exact specifications.

Role focuses on reading drawings, following production procedures, and ensuring high-quality finishes. Permanent position with regular hours; salary reflects UK market rates and probation review.

Qualifications

Strong mathematical skills and ability to read measurements.
Experience reading engineering drawings.
Attention to detail and quality-focused.
Positive attitude with strong teamworking.
Good communication and planning skills.
Previous manufacturing/production experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
Understand and follow route cards and production instructions.
Select the correct PEM inserts for individual jobs.
Safely set pressure levels on the Haeger insert machine according to the PEM inserts being used.
Carry out manual handling tasks, moving materials safely and efficiently.
Ensure machinery is kept clean, functional and well maintained.
Assist with stock control and inventory management.
Maintain a clean, tidy and organised working environment.
Work closely with the Line Manager and Supervisor, reporting any issues promptly and contributing ideas for improvement.
Follow all company health & safety procedures and compliance requirements.

Role Overview

Kinetic are recruiting Manufacturing Production Operatives on behalf of a well-established and expanding manufacturing business based in St. Helens. Production Manufacturing Operative Part of a successful & growing group specialising in bespoke equipment for telecoms networks, our client has built an excellent reputation for quality, innovation and customer service. Due to continued growth, they are looking for Production Operatives to join their busy manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced but supportive production environment, working as part of a team manufacturing specialist cabinets and components. You will play an important role in ensuring products are prepared and completed to the required quality standards, production procedures and customer specifications before progressing to the next stage of manufacture.

Key Responsibilities

Package

The Package £12.72 per hour 37.5 hours per week Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pm Friday: 7:00am - 12:30pm Permanent position Pay review following successful completion of probation
