Major Energy Onshore is seeking an experienced Production Manager for a light fabrication environment in the Thetford area. You will run day-to-day production operations, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safe, on-time delivery of customer orders.

Key responsibilities include planning labour and materials, reducing waste via lean methods, and leading production teams while maintaining quality and safety standards. ERP/MRP systems experience is advantageous.

• Proven production management in light fabrication, sheet metal, engineering or assembly environments.
• Strong lean knowledge with track record of improvements in productivity and cost.
• Hands-on leadership with problem-solving and communication skills.

• Manage daily production operations to meet safety, quality and delivery targets.
• Plan labour, materials, equipment and schedules to maximise throughput.
• Drive lean initiatives (5S, visual management, standard work, waste reduction).
• Identify bottlenecks and implement fixes to reduce lead times and costs.
• Monitor KPIs and use data to improve performance.
• Lead and develop production teams and promote continuous improvement.
• Maintain high product quality, safety and housekeeping standards.
