Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an experienced Production Manager for a well established industrial manufacturing client based in Deeside. You will lead manufacturing operations, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery.

Reporting to the Head of Manufacturing, you will manage production teams, monitor KPIs, implement lean activities, and develop your people through coaching and training opportunities while delivering strong productivity.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Production/Manufacturing Manager role in industrial settings.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety, quality systems, and operational best practices.
• Experience managing production KPIs and driving performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets.
• Ensure safe, efficient manufacturing to required quality standards.
• Monitor performance and drive improvements.
• Manage labour, equipment and materials to maximise productivity.
• Meet production schedules and customer delivery requirements.
• Coach and develop supervisors, team leaders and operators.
• Lead Lean and CI initiatives.
• Reduce downtime, waste and costs.
• Monitor KPIs and report on output, efficiency, downtime, labour.
• Analyse production data for trends and opportunities.
• Contribute to planning and business improvement projects.
