We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Production Manager to join us on a 12-month fixed term basis, participating in delivering high end engaging and innovative coverage of the TNT Sports coverage of the Gallagher Premiership Rugby.

This would be a great position for someone who has live broadcast experience, strong organisation skills, is a strong communicator and has excellent attention to detail.

Reporting into the Production Executive, this would be a great position for someone who is looking for a busy and varied role.

What you’ll be doing…

Providing operational management across all areas of TNT Sports’ coverage of live Gallagher Premiership and across Buzz 16’s other rugby portfolio projects.

Building relationships with the key stakeholders within the landscape of Rugby Union in England, the UK, and beyond…with clubs, regions, provinces, unions, alike.

Preferred skill set:

• Thorough knowledge of production and post production work flows across the live and non-live content delivery.
• Thorough knowledge of managing arrangements around national/international shoots.
• Budget preparation, finance reporting and reconciliation.
• Management of filming, shooting and delivery schedule.
• Co-ordinating with suppliers on crew and equipment arrangements.
• Managing all travel and logistics associated with the event.
• Hiring of freelance staff and contractors, negotiating deals.
• Preparing call sheets and overseeing the production of risk assessments.
• Ensure best Health & Safety practices are carried out on site and on location.
• Manage Production Coordinators within the team and supporting them with call sheets and RAMS.
• Negotiating, Hiring and contracting freelance staff and contractors whilst being mindful of IR35 legislation.
• On Site match point of contact for clubs and 3rd party suppliers

This role may also require late starts/finishes and weekend/bank holiday working where necessary.

Who you are…

• We’d love you to have experience in a similar role in delivering Live Sport, Non Live Content and Digital.
• You’re organised, can think on your feet and are able to juggle a few things at once.
• You’re able to build, manage and forecast a production budget in detail.
• You know all about the rights and clearances as well as production and postproduction workflows, insurance, and health & safety!
• You’re adaptable, dynamic and quick thinking with a flexible approach.
• It would be amazing if you’ve had some experience in sports production and even better if you’ve managed Production Coordinators.
• If you are aware of Albert and Sustainability and have reported on it, then that’s definitely an added bonus!
