Job summary

Evergreen Garden Care is seeking a Production Manager for our Hatfield site to lead daily production operations, drive Lean improvements and manage people, resources and priorities to deliver safe, high-quality output.

You will champion continuous improvement, partner with planning and procurement, and ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

At Evergreen Garden Care, Europe's leading garden care company, we're looking for a Production Manager to join our operations team in Hatfield and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our production performance.

About the Role

Reporting to the Site Manager, you'll provide strong operational leadership across our production site, ensuring production plans are delivered safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively whilst maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, service, and team engagement. You'll lead production teams, manage resources and shift plans, drive performance against key KPIs, and champion continuous improvement across the operation.

What You'll Be Doing

• Strong people leadership, coaching and development skills
• Experience managing performance, resources and operational KPIsA continuous improvement mindset, with knowledge of Lean principles highly desirable
• Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills
