Job summary

Evergreen Garden Care is seeking a Production Manager for our Hatfield site to lead daily production operations, drive Lean improvements and manage people, resources and priorities to deliver safe, high-quality output.

You will champion continuous improvement, partner with planning and procurement, and ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong people leadership and coaching skills.
• Experience leading production teams in manufacturing or similar environments.
• Knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production operations and build a high-performance culture.
• Drive safety, quality, service, output and cost KPIs across the site.
• Manage labour, resources, materials and production priorities.
• Coach and develop teams to build capability and accountability.
• Champion Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with planning, procurement, warehouse and operations teams.
• Ensure compliance with quality, health & safety and operational standards.
