A Production Manager role in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment across Somerset. You will oversee daily operations, ensure plans and targets are achieved, and drive safety, quality and continuous improvement while leading a high-performing production team.

You will work closely with Technical, Engineering, Planning and Supply Chain colleagues, manage KPIs, reduce waste and costs, and support seasonal peaks with proactive planning and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Production Manager or similar manufacturing leadership role.
• Experience within food manufacturing is highly desirable.
• Strong people-management, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of food safety, quality standards and production KPIs.

Production Manager –Food Manufacturing

Salary: £up to 60,000 per annum + Bonus

Commutable from Chard, Ilminster, Crewkerne, Yeovil, Axminster, South Petherton, Taunton, Bridport and the surrounding Somerset, Dorset and East Devon area

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and optimise manufacturing operations within a food production environment.A food manufacturing background is preferred.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring production targets are achieved efficiently, safely and to the highest standards of quality and food safety, whilst driving continuous improvement and developing a high-performing production team.
