Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in food production is seeking a Production Manager to oversee a new production line in the Milton Keynes area. Production Manager

£45,000 to £55,000 + package. Based within the Cheltenham, Oxford, Milton Keynes, Northampton or Warwick areas.

This customer focussed business produces fresh food for UK retailers and wholesalers. They invest in people and believe in developing people for mutual benefit. They continue to grow and evolve through proactive development and capital investment.

You’ll lead, manage and enhance the operation of a new production line. Assess, set and deliver operational standards to maximise efficiency in a safe, productive and collaborative working environment. You will have expertise leading teams, improvement and positive change through learning.

Experience / Qualifications

• Experience within a food manufacturing environment.
• Ideally short shelf life or bakery.
• Managed a complete production operation from goods in through to despatch.
• Continuous improvement knowledge.
• Great communicator and positive people leader.
• Attention to detail and can use operational data.
• Able to prioritise and make decisions.
• Able to collaborate with people across the wider business.
• Able to organise time and work to deadlines.
• Knowledge of ERP systems or similar.
• Capital project team experience is useful.
