Reed Specialist Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Production Manager in Mansfield to lead daily wash facilities and pre-pack operations, ensuring targets are met safely and efficiently. You will coordinate with Team Leaders, monitor line performance, and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires proven production management experience, strong leadership, knowledge of BRC Global Standards, and data-driven decision making. Immediate start and a full-time Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven production management experience in a similar industry.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to coach team leaders.
• Knowledge of BRC Global Standards and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication with staff and stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and lead investigations.
• Data-driven decision making and performance improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of wash facilities and pre-pack area to meet targets safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate with Team Leaders to manage workflow, shift planning and resources.
• Monitor line performance, packs per minute, packaging usage, checkweigher outputs, and camera grading system.
• Ensure production activities comply with BRC Standards and internal quality protocols.
• Promote a culture of safety and adherence to health and safety policies.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Provide daily and weekly KPI updates to the Operations Manager.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Oversee daily operations of the wash facilities and pre-pack area to ensure production targets are met efficiently and safely.

• Monitor and optimize line performance, including packs per minute, packaging usage, checkweigher outputs, and camera grading system.
• Ensure all production activities comply with BRC Global Standards and internal quality protocols.
• Promote a culture of safety and ensure all team members adhere to health and safety policies.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Provide daily and weekly updates to the Operations Manager on KPIs, staffing, and issues.
