Job Description

Joining IPS as a Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Co-pack Operation to meet planned volume and commercial targets in accordance with Quality and Safety standards. You will be a role model for best practice at all times, and through innovation, deliver cost savings and support to the site.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Key Duties Of a Production Manager

• Primary point of contact with the Customer.
• Effectively maximise production efficiency to ensure plans are met on an hourly/daily basis.
• Motivate a team to meet production targets.
• Ensure the final product meets client specifications.
• Utilise onsite Warehouse Management systems.
• Adhere to and promote best practices in accordance with health, safety, and quality regulations.
• Ensure all paperwork and systems are completed accurately per company procedures.
• Maintain compliance with hygienic audits, both internal and external.
• Ensure GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and housekeeping are strictly followed.
• Assist in developing a skills matrix for all production workers.
• Attend Line Leader meetings and relevant training courses as required.
• Identify and develop Line Leaders for success planning.
• Train and develop new starters.
• Be a role model for best practices.
• Monitor, control, and minimise waste.
• Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a production/co-pack environment.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team.
• Clear and positive communication skills.
• Knowledge of procedures and compliance demonstration.
• Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise work to meet strict deadlines.
• Commitment to respond to changing customer needs.
• Ability to work towards targets/KPIs.
• Recognise and promote continuous improvement.
• Drive performance improvements to achieve service objectives.
