About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our dynamic team based in Leicester. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in manufacturing, preferably working with multiple UK brands and retailers. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless production processes, maintaining internal systems, coordinating deliveries, and meeting customer deadlines with precision.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the entire production process from order initiation to final delivery.
2. Coordinate daily with the brand HQ to ensure production requirements are understood and met.
3. Monitor and update internal production systems for accuracy and accessibility.
4. Track order statuses with manufacturers to ensure timelines are adhered to.
5. Manage logistics for deliveries to ensure timely dispatch and customer satisfaction.
6. Collaborate with quality control, product, and warehouse teams to uphold standards.
7. Address production issues promptly to prevent delays or quality issues.
8. Maintain organized records, schedules, and delivery logs.
9. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
10. Serve as the main contact point between local teams and HQ for production matters.

Requirements:

1. At least 10 years of experience in a production management role within manufacturing, ideally with multiple brands and retailers.
2. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
3. Proficiency with production tracking systems, internal software, and logistics platforms.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
6. Proactive problem-solving skills.
7. Solid understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and production management systems.
9. Positive, team-oriented attitude with adaptability.
