An opportunity exists for a Production Manager to join our dynamic and ever-changing organisation in this key leadership position. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, this role will manage and oversee our two-shift bottling plant operation and personnel.

This role is responsible for driving performance on the production floor at our Salisbury South facility, whilst also ensuring HS&E and HACCP requirements are met. Critical to their success will be the incumbents’ ability to lead successful teams to achieve technical specifications and production KPI’s.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Create and maintain a safe working environment
2. Assist in implementing and managing Quality, Food Safety and GMP standards across production areas and teams
3. Navigate between tactical ‘day to day’ operational challenges and strategic mid-long term initiatives for continuous improvement
4. Build capacity in all operators to enhance skills using SOPs and systems
5. Apply critical thinking to positively influence performance
6. Conduct regular production team meetings to review performance and identify improvements
7. Collaborate with maintenance to resolve issues efficiently using Lean tools
8. Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives
9. Implement training and capability development for frontline teams

You should demonstrate the ability to lead a production team in a complex, fast-paced environment, with strong technical expertise and a strategic, continuous improvement mindset. Experience with FMCG, beverage bottling, or packing environments is highly regarded.

You must be proficient in Microsoft Office and ISO systems, with hands-on HACCP and GMP experience. Strategic thinking and fostering a collaborative workplace culture are essential.
