    • Oversee the creation of prototypes, samples, and final pieces, ensuring alignment with design specifications and brand standards.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Conduct rigorous quality checks at every stage of production to ensure materials and craftsmanship meet the brand’s exacting standards.
    • Address and resolve any production challenges to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Supplier and Workshop Coordination:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international workshops, particularly in Italy, to ensure seamless collaboration.
    • Source and manage suppliers for precious metals, gemstones, and other materials, ensuring ethical sourcing and cost-effectiveness.
  • Work closely with design teams to review sketches and technical drawings, providing input on feasibility and production techniques.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to align production schedules with client orders and market demands.
  • Budget and Inventory Management:
    • Monitor production budgets, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.
    • Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring timely replenishment and minimal waste.
  • Documentation and Compliance:
    • Ensure all production activities adhere to industry regulations and ethical standards.
    • Maintain accurate records of production schedules, costs, and quality assessments.
  • Innovation and Improvement:
    • Continuously evaluate production processes, identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency improvements.

Key Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in production management within high-end or luxury jewellery.
    • Demonstrable experience managing both bespoke high jewellery and fine jewellery production.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • GIA certification or equivalent gemmological knowledge is highly preferred.
    • Strong understanding of jewellery manufacturing techniques, including casting, handcrafting, and gemstone setting.
    • Proficiency in Italian (spoken and written) is highly desirable.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse teams and suppliers.
