The CNC Production Manager role itself, where you will oversee the daily running of a multi-machine CNC environment. You\'ll lead, motivate, and develop a team of skilled operators and team leaders, ensuring production targets are consistently met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. More specifically:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of CNC Team Leaders and Operators.
  • Manage recruitment, training, and progression of departmental staff.
  • Ensure production targets and delivery schedules are achieved across 12+ CNC machines.
  • Use OEE data to monitor performance and drive improvement initiatives.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks, downtime, and waste using Lean tools and techniques.
  • Embed 5S, structured housekeeping, and visual management into daily operations.
  • Champion health and safety, carrying out risk assessments and toolbox talks.
  • Oversee both planned and reactive maintenance to maximise machine uptime.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives aligned with SQCDP (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People) principles.
  • Provide data-driven reports and insights to senior management.
