Job summary

Unilever in Port Sunlight is seeking a Machine Operator to safely operate material handling and production equipment in line with the production plan and safety standards. You will work with the team to optimise downtime, support maintenance activities and ensure quality while meeting customer requirements.

The role focuses on adhering to SOPs, 5S practices, and continuous improvement to maximise equipment performance and efficiency within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow site health, safety and environmental rules at all times.
• Run and monitor production equipment to meet the weekly plan and optimise performance.
• Complete autonomous maintenance tasks per your competency and SOL (instructed level).
• Support equipment changeovers and product changeovers as required.
• Minimise waste and maximise efficiency to improve cost effectiveness.
• Identify and report hazards and seek to reduce risk where needed.
