Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is seeking a Machine Operative (Days) to join the Ellesmere Port production team. The role involves operating bagging and production machinery, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on site.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will perform quality checks, keep production records, and help meet targets while minimising waste in a clean, safe environment. Food safety knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Food manufacturing experience desirable but not essential.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work as part of a team and use your own initiative.
• Basic computer skills and good numeracy.
• Desirable Food safety / HACCP knowledge.
• Health & safety and manual handling experience.

Machine Operative (Days) Location: Ellesmere Port Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:00am-4:00pm | Friday 7:00am-1:00pm The Role We are recruiting for a machine operative to join the production team.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for operating bagging and production machinery, ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
