Job summary

AMFRESH Group in the United Kingdom is seeking an AMFRESH Machine Minder to operate and maintain our production lines. The role covers managing production machines, performing start-up checks, monitoring performance and proposing improvements to the line.

The position follows a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (07:00 - 19:30) with an hourly rate of £13.70 - £14.90, paid weekly. We welcome applicants with an interest in machinery and a collaborative team mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in machinery, engineering, or technical fields.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for managing our production machines.
• Do start-up checks at the start of your shift.
• Monitor and optimise the machine's performance.
• Suggest more efficient ways for the line to run.
• Complete regular material changeovers and feed in new packaging materials.
• Report any performance issues to your Line Leader or Engineering team.
• Prepare hand-over documents for night shift.
• Briefly cover other duties where required, to keep the line running.
