Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Production Line Supervisor in Bilsthorpe, near Newark and Nottinghamshire, for a Monday–Friday days role. The package starts at £14.75 per hour, with training, holiday and progression opportunities.

You will lead a team on a busy production line and support Supervisors in day-to-day operations to ensure smooth production on the factory floor. The role offers job security, ongoing development and long-term progression within a family‑style culture

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar production supervisor/line leader role.
• Good communication skills and ability to lead a team.
• Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supervising a team on a busy production line.
• Ensuring start-up checks are completed, machines are set up, and production runs smoothly by monitoring line speed, progress and downtime.
• Work to the plan from the Planning Manager to maximise performance and minimise downtime.
• Monitor line speed, KPIs, quality checks and train production operatives.
• Ensure procedures and paperwork are kept up to date and support continuous improvement.

The Role:

• Supervising a team on a busy production line


• Ensuring that daily start up checks are done, machines are set up and ready to start at the beginning of the shift and production is maintained during the shift by monitoring & reporting Line speed, progress & downtime


• Work towards the plan provided by Planning Manager, to ensure maximum performance and minimum downtime is maintained throughout the shift


• Monitoring line speed and KPIs, Quality checks, training of production operatives
  
• Ensuring all relevant company procedures are adhered to & all relevant paperwork is kept up to date, recording results, supporting continuous improvement

The Person:

• Previous experience in a similar role within a production environment as a Line Supervisor / Line Leader


• Good communication skills & the ability to problem-solve and lead the team
  
• Able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines & excellent attention to detail
