Job summary

Eurocell Plc is seeking a Line Leader to oversee the setup, operation and maintenance of foiling machines on a production line. You will start up and shut down equipment, monitor processes and coach operatives to achieve production targets while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires experience with machine setup, troubleshooting and quality control, reading product specifications and a strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Previous experience setting up machines, troubleshooting and quality control.
• Competent in reading product specifications

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain foiling machines and perform start-up/shut-down procedures
• Carry out product changeovers and monitor production processes
• Troubleshoot operational issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Ensure products meet quality standards and production targets while minimising downtime
• Coach and upskill Foiling Operatives on the production line
• Identify and resolve problems in the foiling process, including equipment malfunctions
• Inspect foiled products for defects and ensure compliance with specifications
• Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards and follow safety procedures

Job description

As Line Leader you are responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of foiling machines including machine start-up and shutdown procedures, monitoring production processes, carrying out product changeovers, troubleshooting operational issues, and performing preventative maintenance ensuring all products meet quality standards while achieving production targets, minimising downtime, and maintaining a safe working environment.,

• Conduct daily pre-start up checks to ensure machines are safe to run
• Comply and adhere with all health, safety and environmental standards
• Adhere to risk assessments, SOP's and safe systems of work
• Maintain high housekeeping and health and safety standards
• Follow safety procedures and ensure a safe work environment in line with SHE requirements
• Actively coach, support and upskill Foiling Operatives working on a production line
• Monitor the foiling process, adjusting machine settings, and ensuring optimal performance
• Identify and resolve problems within the foiling process, including equipment malfunctions and material issues
• Inspect foiled products for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications
  Previous experience to carry out machine set up, troubleshooting and quality control
• Competent in reading product specification
• Experience in product inspection, checking and planning ahead

• Strong understanding of key safety activities and safe working practice
