Job summary

Eurocell Group Ltd. in Somercotes, Alfreton, is seeking a Process Water Technician to support extrusion operations across Clover Nook and Birchwood sites.

You will maintain process water systems, monitor chemicals, and assist with tank bleed-off and routine maintenance. The role is site based, Monday to Friday 07:00–15:00, with a competitive salary (£13.66 per hour) and benefits including healthcare, life assurance, and staff discounts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain process water systems across both sites (Clover Nook and Birchwood).
• Replace and clean filtration equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor stocks and inventories of chemicals, PPE and equipment.
• Check, dose and adjust chemical systems as required.
• Carry out tank bleed-off and routine water maintenance.
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance in extrusion halls and report issues.

We are currently looking for a Process Water Technician to join our Extrusion team supporting both our Clover Nook and Birchwood site in Somercotes, Alfreton to help maintain the efficient operation of our process water systems.

As a Process Water Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our extrusion operations by ensuring process water systems remain safe, efficient, and fully operational. Your work will help maintain product quality, minimise downtime, and support continuous production across our manufacturing sites.

WHAT OUR WATER OPERATIVES DO:

• Maintain process water systems across both Eurocell sites, Clover Nook and Birchwood
• Replace and clean filtration equipment to ensure optimal system performance
• Monitor stock levels and maintain inventories of chemicals, PPE, and process water equipment
• Check, replace, and dose chemical systems as required
• Carry out tank bleed-off activities and routine process water maintenance
• Inspect, clean, and maintain downstream equipment within extrusion halls
• Safely dispose of waste generated from process water and chiller systems
• Work closely with production teams to support cleaning and maintenance activities
• Monitor system performance and promptly report any issues or incidents
• Assist the maintenance department with additional operational and ad hoc tasks as required
