Job summary

CEVA Logistics Mendlesham is seeking a reliable, experienced Production Line Lead to join our team on a full-time late shift. You will oversee an automated packing line, drive smooth changeovers and respond quickly to line stoppages, jams and quality issues.

Key duties include maintaining production records, verifying packaging and batch information, and supporting planned maintenance. You will lead operatives, ensure health & safety, hygiene, and high productivity on the line.

Qualifications

• Experience in production, manufacturing, warehouse or logistics.
• Good attention to detail and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding, manual handling environment.
• Confident working around automated machinery.
• Willing and able to operate PPT and Pallet Stacker.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of an automated packing line.
• Manage product and line changeovers.
• Respond to line stoppages, jams and operational issues.
• Complete production records and PC-based data.
• Verify products, packaging, labels and batch information.
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, quality, hygiene and food safety.
• Support planned maintenance and equipment checks.
• Guide and support operatives during production.
• Use PPT and Pallet Stacker in line with site procedures.
