Job summary

QS Recruitment in Lincoln is seeking Laundry Operatives to join a busy laundry facility. This role is hands-on and physically active, handling garments along the production line, scanning barcodes, and ensuring high-quality processing.

You will work Mon-Thu 07:00–16:00 and Fri 07:00–12:00 (4.5 day week), earning £13 per hour with weekly pay. Duration is long-term temporary with perm opportunities and training provided.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and comfortable with a hands-on role.
• Able to work on their feet for extended periods.
• Comfortable with repetitive lifting, loading and unloading.
• Reliable and hardworking.
• Able to follow processes and instructions carefully.
• Have good attention to detail, particularly when checking garments for faults or damage.
• Comfortable working as part of a team in a busy environment.
• Previous laundry, warehouse or production experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Working along the laundry production line.
• Scanning garment barcodes using handheld equipment.
• Loading and unloading garments from industrial laundry machines.
• Moving and handling garments throughout the facility.
• Checking garments carefully for faults, damage or defects.
• Reporting any issues identified during the process.
• Ensuring garments are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
