Job summary

Solus, an Aviva company, seeks a Production Lead to sit at the centre of site operations, uniting people, process and performance to ensure repairs progress safely, efficiently and right first time.

You will lead technical teams, set priorities and collaborate with Customer Service and Parts Leads to remove blockers, while using data to balance productivity, quality and customer outcomes. This role shapes how the site operates and develops its people.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience with cross-functional teams.
• Strong ability to drive performance and improve processes.
• Demonstrated decision-making under pressure.
• Experience coordinating between workshop, customer service and parts teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support technical teams to deliver safe, high‑quality, right‑first‑time repairs
• Create clarity around priorities, workload and flow across the workshop
• Work closely with Customer Service and Parts Leads to remove blockers and maintain momentum
• Promote strong communication between technical and customer‑facing teams
• Use data, insight and observation to balance productivity, quality and customer outcomes
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, capability and team confidence
• Act as a visible, trusted leader who sets standards through behaviour and judgement
