Job summary

Harrods in Knightsbridge is seeking a Chef de Partie to lead a section in our Night Production kitchen. You will organise production, maintain high standards, and deliver recipes on time to the exceptional quality Harrods is known for.

This on-site role runs 9pm–6am, five shifts per week, with a night shift allowance, tronc, and access to Harrods benefits including staff discounts. You’ll work closely with Sous Chefs and the Production team to support a busy, high-volume kitchen.

• Strong technical skills in a professional kitchen, able to manage a section confidently.
• Experience coaching or supporting junior chefs and maintaining team culture.
• Understanding of food safety, HACCP, hygiene and compliance.

Job description

We're currently looking for a Chef de Partie who loves being right at the heart of the action to join our Night Production kitchen team. Our Night Chefs are an integral part of our award-winning production kitchen. They ensure that our world-class food halls and deli counters are stocked with mesmerizing products ready for our customers to take away and serve at home, each day. About the Role

Leading your own section, you will organise production, maintain high standards, and ensure recipes are consistently followed and delivered to specification, on time, and to the exceptional quality expected at Harrods. You will work closely with Sous Chefs and the wider Production team, helping to create an efficient and supportive environment where colleagues can develop and thrive.

This role is fully on site, working 5 shifts out of 7 per week.

About You

As this is a dedicated night shift role (9pm to 6am), you'll be someone who works well during overnight hours and enjoys the unique pace of a night-time operation. Having knowledge and passion for food and drink is essential, ideally with time spent in a high-volume production or commercial kitchen environment. You will be confident leading your own section, maintaining exceptional standards under pressure, and working collaboratively with colleagues across the kitchen. A positive, solutions-focused approach and a genuine passion for bakery craftsmanship will be key to your success.

You will bring:

• Strong technical skills, with experience producing high-quality products in a professional kitchen environment.
• The ability to lead a section confidently and organise workloads effectively.
• Experience coaching or supporting junior chefs and helping to maintain a positive team culture.
• A thorough understanding of food safety, HACCP, hygiene, and compliance standards.
• A calm, collaborative, and solutions-focused approach in a high-volume production environment.
